BLACK and WHITE
The British call it Black and withe thinking, black and white thinking, while the term in Italian is dichotomous thinking that divides reality into light and shadow with a clean cut, erasing their complexity, ambiguity and mutability. Think in terms of all or nothing. This exhibition brings together works that are at the two extremes of the chromatic scale, antithetical and independent, but at the same time mutually indispensable; without one, the other would have no sense. Indeed, it is precisely the extreme antithesis that enhances its representative power.
