The central hall features a concert area, an art library, a co-working space, a painting workshop, an audio-video control room connected to the main stage, the CAM Video Box, a space dedicated to the presentation of new film and bibliographic works, and a permanent exhibition area.
The spacious central hall has always been used to showcase works by international artists and has regularly hosted concerts by national and international musicians, as well as art performances—one of CAM’s main areas of research. Performance Art includes stage representations in which the artist is the protagonist. Through provocative gestures, acts of protest, moments of reflection, or inner communication, the artist establishes a direct connection with the audience.
